IPL 2021 must (mustn't) be stopped...

( first five paragraphs are general covid situation of India, to read about IPL skip to paragraph six)  Covid second wave is hitting like a Tsunami in India. Daily 3 lakh new positive cases are reporting in the country death toll is now above 2000.  Peoples are dying without oxygen. In the country capitals hospitals are not giving new admissions. Hospitals capacities already exploded.  Relatives are running all around to make sure oxygen cylinders!. Patients who got oxygen cylinders and not beds, lying under trees with Oxygen mask or in vehicles, country is facing a huge oxygen scarcity.  At the same time vaccination is not yet reached a comfortable condition. Only 1.6% population is fully Vaccinated 8% is took only one dose.  Mass vaccinations and strict controlling measures is the only way to hold this Tsunami. India is facing a never ever happened situation.  Many countries wake up from the covid catastrophy But now india in in great trouble....

India in ICC tournaments 2011-2021

Icc ( international cricket council) had conducted 3 Mens Cricket world cups (2011,2015,2019). 3 T20 world cups (2012,2014,2016)  2 Champions trophy tournaments  (2013,2017) and one world Test championship (2021). In these tournaments Indian cricket team played 6 finals ! And won 2 finals and 2 semi finals.  If I slim the time period after 2013 india didn’t won any major tournaments!. After 2013 India played 4 finals and lost all of them.! Yes that is a sad statistics.  Captain Kohli is breaking all other records as captain but still a ICC trophy is missing in his shelf. 2011 Cricket World Cup It was the 10 th edition of cricket world cup,which is held in India and SreeLanka.  India had his last World Cup trophy 28 year’s back, that was in 1983 India won the World Cup trophy for the first time.After that India had to wait until 2011 to once again pick up the trophy.
