Cricket fans all over the world is debating about the cancellation of 5th test of India England test series.
The test was supposed to start from september 10 but unfortunately due to the covid cases in Indian camp, (Not any players tested positive) but we know team is just 11 players they need supporting staffs, India requested to cancel the test match. Thats part is fine, but the unsaid reasons are in debates.
Why 5th test cancelled?
I already mentioned the first reason is the covid cases in the Indian camp.
But some says that's not the important reason its because of IPL . Indian Premier league al ready to start from September 19.
After the test Indian player have to reach Dubai.
As in the last version , IPL is scheduled in Abudhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai.
BCCI set priority to IPL over International cricket. Thats the main alligation arising now. As we checking the facts that might be true.
Why IPL is more Important to BCCI?
Lets discuss the ethical problem later.
Unlike any other season this season of IPL is more important to BCCI . Here are the reasons
- IPL 2021 was cancelled in the middle due to covid outbreak in Teams. That was held in India, so the efficiency of BCCI is questioned, hence to complete the IPL is a prestige issue to BCCI
- Not only a organising issue but there is a huge economical aspect to this decision
- BCCI has to face a financial crisis if the IPL season couldn't complete. The broadcasting rights , and tittle sponsorships had to repay that alone comes thousands of crores

Anyway whatever the case , BCCI should have given Importance to International cricket over IPL .
Yes we are very much aware of advantages of IPL,the one golden opportunity to the youngesters all that stuff,
But One question,
For what purpose did we find the young talents?
To represent India in international level! isn't that correct ?
I think so and that little answer will give the whole ethical part in the current issue.
Why should BCCI give an explanation?
Above was the tweet from BCCI about the cancellation of test match. Only one tweet ! In the statement there is a sentence 'Players safety is important' then here is the question why don't you think the same when Indian players test postive while the Sreelankan tour!!
In the last T20 there was only 11 player's remaining and choose a team without an option!.
So don't bulf BCCI, this is purely financial interest.

We don't started watching cricket after IPL invented. Or even T20.
Indians got cricket dissolved in blood from early 80's . That even grow bigger and bigger in 90's and in 2000.
We are not judging the IPL or T20 ,it widens the popularity of the game. Okay but not forget the game from where it started.
